Amy and Conor’s Wampanoag Country Club Wedding was one of those beautiful wedding days that you DREAM about. They not only had the best weather of the year, but a beautiful day filled with love surrounded by family and friends.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Amy and Conor had created a day centered on staying relaxed and capturing the details. Everything was SO intentional, which is definitely not a surprise considering how impeccable Amy’s vision was. The entire day carried a sense of calm excitement that made it such a joy to photograph.

One of the things that made this wedding especially meaningful was celebrating at a venue with such a remarkable story. After the clubhouse was lost in a fire in April 2024, Wampanoag Country Club has beautifully rebuilt and is once again hosting weddings and events.
The new clubhouse feels welcoming, elegant, and thoughtfully designed while honoring the history of the club. Throughout the planning process and wedding day itself, the staff went above and beyond to make every guest feel cared for. They definitely designed the clubhouse with an event mindset, as the whole building is full of white walls and grand ceilings and staircases.
A special shoutout goes to Amanda, the Director of Events, who was absolutely incredible to work with. Her organization, communication, and genuine care for her couples made the entire experience seamless. Every member of the team was kind, accommodating, and welcoming, and it’s easy to see why couples are excited to celebrate here again.
If you’re considering a Wampanoag Country Club Wedding, I would absolutely recommend adding it to your venue tour list, and inquire now about photography!

Amy and Conor were an absolute dream to work with.
Amy has one of those smiles that instantly lights up a room. Whether she was walking down the aisle, laughing with her bridesmaids, or sharing quiet moments with Conor, her joy was contagious.
One of the things I appreciated most about working with her was how organized she was throughout the planning process. Thoughtful timelines, clear communication, and attention to detail helped the entire day run smoothly from start to finish. When couples invest time into planning ahead, it creates more opportunities to relax and fully enjoy their wedding day—and that’s exactly what Amy and Conor were able to do.
Amy laid out her vision for their ceremony photos which was incredibly important to her. They got married at Saint Thomas and Saint Timothy Parish in West Hartford, CT and it was such a beautiful church. Amy pointed out that she wanted top-down photos from the choir loft, and we got some epic angles from there!

One of the unique challenges of a Wampanoag Country Club Wedding is that, like many golf course venues, there aren’t many shaded portrait locations close to the clubhouse during high-noon sunlight.

But, luckily, these two were down for a little adventure! Instead of settling for harsh midday light, we hopped on golf carts and headed to a lower section of the course where trees created pockets of shade and beautiful filtered sunlight.
And it was SO worth it…

The location gave us everything we could have hoped for: soft light, lush greenery, and a peaceful backdrop for their portraits. Amy and Conor were able to relax, enjoy a few quiet moments together, and create portraits that felt natural, romantic, and timeless. Those images ended up being some of my favorites from the entire day.
We of course also grabbed portraits around the property. They were so light-filled and complimented their outfits, florals, and their wedding day vibe perfectly.

Every part of Amy and Conor’s wedding reflected the warmth and kindness they bring to those around them.
There was an ease to the day that made everything feel authentic. Nothing felt rushed. Nothing felt forced. It was simply two people surrounded by their favorite people, celebrating the beginning of a beautiful marriage.

There are so many reasons to love a Wampanoag Country Club Wedding:
Most importantly, the team genuinely cares about creating an incredible experience for every couple who chooses to celebrate there. Everyone was quick to answer my questions and eager to help. I was asked multiple times if I needed any food or water, which is always incredibly appreciated on a 10 hour wedding day!
