Some wedding days are memorable for the details, some for the weather, and some for the incredible people surrounding the couple. Jacquie and Thomas’s Anthony’s Ocean View Wedding had all three.
The day began at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by hundreds of family members and friends. The church’s soaring ceilings, stunning architecture, and timeless beauty created the perfect setting for a heartfelt Catholic ceremony. As guests filled the pews, there was a tangible sense of excitement and joy as Jacquie and Thomas officially became husband and wife.
A Beautiful Ceremony at St. Mary’s Church
One of my favorite parts of the day was witnessing the love and support surrounding this couple. St. Mary’s provided a truly grand backdrop for their ceremony, with natural light streaming through the church and highlighting every meaningful moment. From the processional to the final blessing, every detail felt elegant and deeply personal.

Celebrating at Anthony’s Ocean View
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven for an unforgettable reception. Located right on the water, Anthony’s Ocean View is one of Connecticut’s most iconic waterfront wedding venues, offering breathtaking views of Long Island Sound and a stunning setting for celebrations.
There was just one challenge: the wind.
In fact, it was one of the windiest wedding days I’ve ever photographed. But despite the conditions, Jacquie and Thomas were completely up for the adventure. We stepped outside for portraits along the shoreline, and the results were absolutely worth it. The dramatic movement in Jacquie’s gown and veil, combined with the ocean backdrop, created some of my favorite images from the entire day.
A Night to Remember
The reception was filled with incredible entertainment, heartfelt speeches, and nonstop dancing. Guests enjoyed beautiful floral designs, stunning décor, live music, and even live cake-making, creating a unique experience that perfectly reflected Jacquie and Thomas’s personalities.
Their Anthony’s Ocean View Wedding was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most unforgettable photos and memories come when you’re willing to embrace whatever the day brings. Wind and all, it was a celebration full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
