Miranda and Mitch’s Aldworth Manor wedding was nothing short of perfect. For an April wedding in New England, they truly couldn’t have asked for better weather.

For their getting ready photos, Mitch was in the library in the manor and Miranda was in the oval room. This was my first time photographing at Aldworth, and I have to say it may be one of my new favorite venues. We were continually impressed at how each room in the venue was beautifully designed. You could take photos in any room and they looked so beautiful!

Their ceremony took place at St. Bernard Church in Keene, New Hampshire a short drive away from Aldworth. The love between Miranda and Mitch really showed throughout the whole ceremony and you could feel the anticipation from each family member. It was such a special ceremony.

Couples Portraits at Aldworth Manor

And then, their portraits. We scheduled more than 30 minutes of uninterrupted portrait time after their ceremony and it was the best decision ever. We explored every part of the venue to take photos and got creative while in their newlywed bliss! The mountain in the distance of Aldworth Manor made for the perfect backdrop. Aldworth Manor truly feels like a European escape right in the mountains of New Hampshire.

I have to take a moment to talk about the STUNNING reception design by Events by Sorrell. My breath was taken away when I walked into the tented reception space. Everything was so intentional and beautiful. Hiring a wedding planner is always a great idea. They take care of the design and coordination so all you have to do is enjoy your day! Sorrell and her team were amazing to work with.

Also, the desserts, cake, and FLORALS??!! Everything was gorgeous. Graceful Baking did a phenomenal job on the funfetti cake – everyone was raving about it. She also took the lead on the cheesecake tower dessert and cookies that were an ode to Miranda and Mitch’s dog, Gus! Taylor from Love Grows Florals was such an angel. Her arrangements were spring-inspired and full of lush florals.

Having a strong vendor team is so important, and makes your day successful. Shoutout to DJ Chuck from Get Down Tonight, hair and makeup by Christina Marie Artistry, Lakes Region Tent and Event, and, of course, the Aldworth Manor team.

A Beautiful Tented Wedding Reception

The night ended with the most perfect reception under the tent at Aldworth Manor. It was truly the perfect space to end the celebration with Miranda and Mitch’s family and friends.

Tented wedding receptions are always a favorite. Not only are they the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors, but there is ample natural sunlight that looks absolutely fantastic in photos. If you are looking for a way to make your reception feel light and airy, definitely consider a tented reception.

Stepping Away for Reception Portraits

And, of course, you can’t end the evening without some more couples portraits. We explored the inside of the venue and some other hidden gem spots and snagged some fun photos!

The dance floor for their Aldworth Manor wedding was EPIC! Miranda’s young nieces and nephews were dancing up a storm, and everyone chugged beer in honor of Miranda’s brother who is currently deployed. Family, love, tears, laughter – their reception had it all. All in all, it was the most perfect evening that ended with funfetti wedding cake!
