Katie and Lewis’s Boston engagement photos could not have been more perfect! We met at the Boston Public Garden early on a crisp fall morning, and it was pure magic from start to finish. We couldn’t have scheduled their session for a better day. The trees around the garden were all bursting with color (I feel like it was one of the last true fall days before all the leaves fell!) It was one of those rare moments when everything aligned: the timing, the weather, and of course, the couple.

First of all, Katie and Lewis were the CUTEST couple. They came so prepared with their fall outfits that coordinated perfectly and complemented the autumn palette beautifully — just the right mix of casual and elevated. They truly looked like they belonged in a romantic movie set in Boston in the fall. If you’re looking for Boston engagement photos, inquire now!

One of my top tips for couples planning Boston engagement photos is to schedule your session in the morning. Not only do you still get that dreamy, golden light, but you also avoid the large crowds that you’d get if you photograph later in the day around sunset. It makes such a difference being able to move around freely and not feel like you’re constantly in people’s way. And, it makes you and your partner much more comfortable without so many people around!

The Boston Public Garden is one of my favorite engagement session locations because it offers so much variety — the willow trees, charming bridges, and city skyline all within walking distance. With the fall foliage in full display, it’s an absolute dream setting.

Katie and Lewis’s session reminded me why I love photographing couples in Boston: it’s classic, full of character, and effortlessly romantic. If you’re recently engaged and considering photos in the city, fall mornings at the Public Garden are unbeatable!

Some wedding days are memorable for the details, some for the weather, and some for the incredible people surrounding the couple. Jacquie and Thomas’s Anthony’s Ocean View Wedding had all three. When Abby reached out for her grad photos at Quinnipiac Law School, I was SO excited. I don’t often get the chance to do grad school graduation photos, so this was such a special treat. Abby showed up in a stunning long white dress (with a pink suit on deck) and we got right into […]
