Orthodox Wedding Photography

My photography journey started at my Greek Orthodox church when my priest handed me his DSLR Nikon and asked me to photograph services and events. I LOVED being the girl with the camera! Becoming a wedding photographer was never part of the plan I had in my head (as a little girl, I always wanted to be a teacher). Until, one day, I photographed a wedding with my high school photography teacher. A few years later, I photographed a cousin of a friend's wedding, just for fun. Little did I know that, just a few years later, weddings would quickly become my favorite thing to photograph.

My favorite part about Orthodox weddings is the tradition and importance of the sacrament. I truly enjoy witnessing and capturing the mystery each time, and experiencing it through my lens.

Fun Fact: I became a wedding photographer by accident (no, really!)

Step 3: Timeline Planning

You're not in this alone. I’ll work with you (and your planner, if you have one!) to build a photography timeline that flows naturally, allows for beautiful light, and gives you breathing room to be fully present on your wedding day.

Step 4: Get married!

On the big day, I’m there to document moments in a photojournalistic. candid manner –– joyful tears, quiet glances, and everything in between. I've even held dresses, tied a bowtie, and fixed veils on multiple occasions. My approach is calm, observant, and intentional, so you can focus on celebrating while I capture it all.
