Destination Wedding in Finger Lakes, New York

When Sara and James first reached out, I fell in love with their simple yet thoughtful wedding plans. A destination wedding in the finger lakes region in New York, where their family from all over would convene. Throughout their decor they included traditional customs for both sides of their families. This included Alebrijes made in Mexico by Oaxacan artisans for all their guests as party favors, as well as Barong Tagalog worn by the groom – a shirt that is traditionally worn for weddings in the Phillipines.

Inspired by popular 2000s romcoms, their tented wedding reception had themes of a European garden party with the perfect pop of color. It couldn’t have been more stunning!

In Their Words

“Ephe was the best photographer ever. I was one of the last people in my friend group to get married and I’ve seen some photography disasters happen the day of. Ephe had none of that and all of my friends loved her and her work ethic. She is very punctual and organized. She understood the vibe that I was going for and she had my sneak peeks and all of my wedding pictures edited super quick! I wish I lived closer to Ephe so I could hire her for all of my photography needs.” – Sara and James
