The Planning
One of the most important parts is our preparation! You'll have access to my client outfit recommendations, Pinterest planning moodboards, and my extensive CT engagement photographer session location recommendations map.
Day-of your session
We'll spend the first 10-15 minutes of the session helping you get comfortable in front of the camera. From there, I'll run through the core poses you'll be doing throughout the session and hitting all the spots we want to at your session location!
Quick Delivery
I know you are busy trying to plan out your Save the Dates and print photos for your guest book, so I aim to deliver galleries as efficiently as possible. Engagement sessions are delivered within 48 hours, on average.
The Investment
For your engagement session, you can choose the experience that works best for you: a petite session for something shorter, or a signature session for something more relaxed. Regardless, I'll work with you to select a location, give outfit guidance, and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Questions
What should we wear for our engagement photos?
First and foremost, you should wear what you feel best in! I recommend choosing something neutral and not loud or full of patterns that can distract from the two of you in the photos.
What if we're awkward in front of the camera?
Good news: you don't have to know what to do! I’ll guide you through prompts, movement, and natural interactions so you’re not left wondering where to put your hands.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, of course! Dogs are welcome for your engagement photos. I recommend having a way to have them safe when we are doing photos of just you two.
What time of day is best for engagement photography?
I typically recommend golden hour, when the light is soft and flattering. That being said, there are also cases in which I recommend early morning, especially for busy locations.
What happens if it rains?
I always keep an eye on the weather in the week leading up to your session. If there is a high chance of rain or bad weather, I will reach out and we can find a date to reschedule, based on availability.
How many photos will we receive?
You'll receive a fully edited digital gallery of engagement photos after your session. Full, hour-long engagement sessions often have between 75-150 total edited photos.
Can we do multiple locations?
For a one hour session, we can schedule a maximum of two locations if they're close in distance. If you would like two further away spots, you will want to consider doing two separate sessions.
