I absolutely love the excitement of graduation season. There are celebrations, looking forward to what is next, and the chance to document an incredibly meaningful milestone for graduates. Sophia’s Trinity College grad photos were the perfect reminder of why I love senior and graduate portrait sessions so much.
This was actually my first time photographing a session at Trinity College, and I completely fell in love with the campus. Even though Trinity has a smaller campus feel, it offers so many incredible locations for portraits. There were a ton of beautiful architectural details, historic stone buildings, archways, walls, and soft greenery that made every photo feel timeless and elegant.

One of my favorite parts of Sophia’s session was photographing around the chapel area on campus. Both the exterior of the chapel and the interior walkways were absolutely stunning for photos, with its grand stone architecture, dramatic archways, and timeless collegiate feel. It honestly felt like something out of Europe and made the perfect backdrop for graduation portraits.
The chapel steps and archways added so much variety to the gallery and gave Sophia’s photos such an elegant, editorial look. Between the stone textures, soft neutral tones, and beautiful symmetry of the building, every image felt classic and refined.

Sophia wore a beautiful flowy white dress for her session, which photographed beautifully against the neutral stone architecture around campus. Her blue and gold graduation stole added the perfect pop of color and tied everything together so well. Fun fact: she custom ordered her stole since Trinity tends to deliver caps and gowns very close to commencement. It was a genius idea that allowed for personalization in her photos.

One of the things that surprised me most about Trinity College was how many unique photo locations were packed into such a walkable campus. In such a short amount of time, we were able to create a gallery with so much variety without needing to travel far at all.
Sophia was an absolute joy to photograph, and it was so special getting to celebrate this season of life with her. Graduation sessions like this are such a meaningful way to preserve memories before stepping into a new chapter.

Some wedding days are memorable for the details, some for the weather, and some for the incredible people surrounding the couple. Jacquie and Thomas’s Anthony’s Ocean View Wedding had all three. The day began at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by hundreds of family members and friends. The […]

I don’t get to photograph in Litchfield, Connecticut often, but when I do it is absolutely a treat! There’s something especially magical about spring evenings in Connecticut, and Lois and George’s Topsmead State Park engagement photos captured that feeling perfectly. From the soft golden light to the dreamy New England scenery, their session felt straight […]

There’s something undeniably romantic about a rainy wedding day, and Natalie and Tom’s celebration at Hill-Stead Museum was the perfect example of making the most of every moment. Despite the weather, their day felt elegant, joyful, and incredibly intimate from beginning to end. Natalie started the day by getting ready at the Simsbury 1820 house, […]

This was my first time photographing a family session at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, Connecticut, and it definitely won’t be my last! Between the peaceful shoreline, tall beach grass, and tree-lined areas throughout the park, it truly offers the best of both worlds for family photos. Samantha, David, and their sweet son Evan […]

There’s something timeless about springtime in Boston, and Julia and Brandon’s session was the perfect reminder of why I love photographing couples here so much. Their spring Boston Public Garden engagement photos felt straight out of a movie — blooming trees, soft sunlight, the city skyline in the background. We opted for an early morning […]

When Abby reached out for her grad photos at Quinnipiac Law School, I was SO excited. I don’t often get the chance to do grad school graduation photos, so this was such a special treat. Abby showed up in a stunning long white dress (with a pink suit on deck) and we got right into […]

Miranda and Mitch’s Aldworth Manor wedding was nothing short of perfect. For an April wedding in New England, they truly couldn’t have asked for better weather. For their getting ready photos, Mitch was in the library in the manor and Miranda was in the oval room. This was my first time photographing at Aldworth, and […]

Sydney first reached out just days after getting engaged, and you could feel the excitement in every word of her message. Their proposal had been intimate and private, so capturing this season of their lives in a meaningful way felt especially important. From the moment she reached out, I was already so excited to capture […]

Branding photos are one of the most powerful ways that business owners can show the personality behind their work. I had the joy of photographing branding photos for calligrapher and stationery artist Carissa Marie Calligraphy, and the session perfectly captured the elevated yet approachable feel of her brand.
