Meghan and Ross’ wedding day at The Country Club of Farmington was absolutely beautiful — one of those days that feels impossible to fully put into words. From the moment I met Meg and Ross, I could tell their wedding was going to be something special. Not just because of their stunning details, but because of them.

As always, I started off their wedding morning by photographing their details for flat lays. This included their wedding rings, programs, and other personalized items like cigars and matchboxes. I always love doing macro ring shots, as it’s normally the one time couples will have beautiful, up-close photos of their wedding rings, ever! Thanks to Willow and Grey Floral, these flat lays with her florals sprinkled throughout were epic.
Meg and Ross’ wedding day is one for the books. They met in college at an intramural softball game. Their competitive spirits were the spark for the beginning of a flirtatious friendship. They saw eachother soon after at a bar where Ross broke out his epic breakdancing skills and won her over.

Meghan and Ross are two of the kindest, most thoughtful people, and that energy carried through every single part of their wedding day. I first met them back in February during their winter engagement session at Eolia Mansion. From that very first meeting, Meg shared her dream of having a snow-covered wedding day. While their actual wedding day didn’t bring snowfall, they woke up the next morning to three inches of fluffy snow (arguably even better). It felt like the perfect, magical ending to their celebration.

Their wedding design was timeless and intentional. With a classic color palette of white and black, every detail was elevated and meaningful. One of my favorite personal touches was that each placemat included a handwritten thank-you note for guests. This was a small detail, but it spoke volumes about how much Meg and Ross value the people in their lives who have supported and cheered them on.

As a wedding photographer, I can confidently say that The Country Club of Farmington is absolutely fantastic and easily one of the best venues I’ve ever worked at. From start to finish, the staff was kind, professional, and, most importantly, exceptionally communicative. They ensured that both myself and my second photographer were fed on time and taken care of so we never missed a key moment of the day. That level of organization and thoughtfulness makes such a difference behind the scenes and allows us as vendors to truly do our best work.

Between the warmth of the staff, the elegance of the space, and the genuine love shared by Meghan and Ross, this wedding day was unforgettable. If you’re considering The Country Club of Farmington for your own wedding, know that you’re choosing a venue that not only photographs beautifully but also prioritizes the experience for couples and vendors alike.

Meghan and Ross, thank you for trusting me to capture such a meaningful day. Your wedding was classic, heartfelt, and filled with so much love, and I’ll be smiling about it for a long time to come! 🤍
