Recently, I had the joy of photographing Victoria and Connor’s engagement session here, and it could not have been more perfect. They envisioned something modern and neutral, with a focus on simplicity and clean tones that let their connection shine.
The Perfect Setting for Engagement Photos in CT
Wadsworth Mansion is one of my favorite locations for engagement photos in Connecticut because it offers:
- Elegant architecture – A neutral, timeless backdrop that never feels dated.
- Open green spaces – Perfect for movement, candid shots, and walking hand-in-hand.
- Romantic light – The way the sun filters through the trees in the evening creates a magical glow.
- No permit required – although no permit is required, it is requested that you reach out via their website at least 48 hours in advance to ensure there are no private events being held when you’d like to have your session.
During Victoria and Connor’s session, the sun peeked through the trees just as we started shooting, giving us that soft golden light photographers dream of.
