As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing weddings at many stunning Connecticut wedding venues, and I wanted to share a curated list of my personal favorites.

This is one of those Connecticut wedding venues that instantly gives off a unique and unforgettable vibe. The Hops Company in Derby is the perfect spot for couples who want something fun, relaxed, and rustic while still being absolutely beautiful. With its expansive beer garden, cozy lodge-style interiors, and lush outdoor spaces, it’s a venue that feels both lively and romantic at the same time. It has two options – The Garden, and The Lodge, both equally beautiful with ample space! I also truly appreciate their bonus “cottage” on the property, which is perfect for bridal getting ready.

For couples dreaming of a waterfront wedding, Madison Beach Hotel is the only beachfront hotel in Connecticut that offers weddings right on the sand. Imagine exchanging vows with the ocean behind you and then moving into their ballroom for a classic coastal celebration.

The ivy-covered mansion, formal gardens, and romantic stonework make this a dream location for couples looking for old-world charm. There are not many CT wedding venues that make you feel like you are in Europe, so Gwyn Careg definitely tops the list for that reason.
