Meet Gwyn Careg Inn. Nestled among lush formal gardens, meandering pathways, open fields, and a serene pond, this venue feels like it was plucked straight from the pages of a European fairytale. The soft pastel florals, the old-world architecture, the romantic stillness in the air – everything about Gwyn Careg Inn is truly magical. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting for this dreamy spring editorial.
Dare I say it? Gwyn Careg Inn might just be Connecticut’s best romantic, European-inspired wedding venue.
The towering walls and lining blossomed trees made for the best backdrop for photos during any time of day. Even early in the morning with bright sunlight towering over, we were able to make the most beautiful art because we had such great creative control over how we wanted to use the lighting.
If you’re a newly engaged couple in Connecticut dreaming of a sophisticated yet romantic wedding with European charm, soft florals, and a deeply peaceful atmosphere, this may just be your dream venue.
