It offers a little bit of everything — an elegant mansion, blooming gardens, winding pathways, open fields, and even a serene beachfront. Whether you’re going for romantic, whimsical, or classic vibes, Harkness provides endless variety and beauty all in one spot. It’s the perfect setting for engagement sessions, portraits, or any photoshoot where you want a stunning and diverse gallery without ever needing to leave the park.
Nestled among lush formal gardens, meandering pathways, open fields, and a serene pond, this venue feels like it was plucked straight from the pages of a European fairytale. There are a range of staircases, patios, walkways, and sunken gardens for portraits. The soft pastel florals, the old-world architecture, the romantic stillness in the air – everything about Gwyn Careg Inn is truly magical and perfect for any portrait or engagement session in Connecticut.
