The Session
When you hire me as your Connecticut family photographer, you’re getting someone who is communicative and loves to be prepared. You show up ready to smile, and I’ll show up ready to have fun and take beautiful photos!
Heirloom Albums and Wall Art
I believe that your experience is not complete until you have printed photos hanging in your home. That is why every portrait session comes with a $100 credit towards premium artwork with my design team. I truly want you to print and cherish these moments forever!
The Investment
You’ll have the option to select a petite (30 minutes) or signature (60 minutes) package for your milestone session. I also offer limited, 20-minute mini sessions throughout the year. Depending on your needs and family size, I will recommend what will suit your needs best and capture the session of your dreams!

Questions
What should we wear?
I recommend choosing a soft, coordinating color palette (think neutrals, earthy tones, soft blues, creams, and subtle patterns that complement each other). Additionally, focus on finding outfits that are comfortable so you can feel your best!
What if my kids don't behave?
I get it – not only do I understand that kids aren’t always going to behave, but I expect that to be the case going into your session. That’s why I try to keep sessions full of movement (so they don’t have to sit still for too long) and exciting. Incentives help, too! I recommend prepping your children ahead of time: starting a few days before, remind them that the session is coming up and let them know about a reward they can receive if the session goes well. That way, they have a motivation to smile for the camera!
How many people can come?
Petite family sessions are reserved for a family of 5 members or less. If you have 6 or more family members for your session, you will need to book the signature family session to ensure we have enough time to photograph everyone. For families that are 10+, please reach out and I’ll create a custom package for your needs.
What is the best time for family photos?
Evening near golden hour is normally the best time, but I am completely flexible to work around nap time schedules and to take advantage of the time of day that everyone is most relaxed.
What should we bring to our session?
If you have kids, bring snacks! They’re a great incentive for kids and make sure that everyone (including the adults!) stay happy, not hungry.
Can we bring our pet(s)?
Furry best friends are always allowed, of course! As long as the location you select is pet-friendly, we will take all the fluffy love we can get. I recommend having someone who can hold your pet while we take photos without them, or have a way to secure them safely while we take photos right nearby.
