When couples ask for a quintessential New England engagement session, Watch Hill is always at the top of the list. With its sandy beaches, charming coastal town, iconic shoreline, and peaceful morning light, it’s the perfect place to celebrate this exciting season before the wedding day.
Caiti-Erin and Evan envisioned timeless Watch Hill engagement photos that felt relaxed, romantic, and unmistakably New England. By choosing an early morning session, we were able to experience Watch Hill at its very best—quiet streets, empty beaches, and beautiful soft light that made every image feel effortless.

Watch Hill is one of Rhode Island’s most beloved coastal destinations, especially during the summer months. While that makes it a stunning backdrop, it also means the beaches and downtown area can become quite busy later in the day.
Meeting shortly after sunrise allowed us to enjoy the town before it came to life. The peaceful atmosphere gave Caiti-Erin and Evan the freedom to focus on each other without crowds in the background, creating photographs that feel intimate and timeless.
The soft morning light also provided a beautiful, natural glow that perfectly complemented the coastal scenery.

One of the things I love most about photographing Watch Hill engagement photos is how much variety this little seaside town offers.
From sandy beaches and sea grass to charming coastal architecture and quiet pathways, every corner feels like classic New England. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, take in the ocean breeze, and create photographs that will never go out of style.
For Caiti-Erin and Evan, this setting was exactly what they had envisioned—simple, elegant, and full of the coastal charm that makes New England so special.

Engagement sessions are about so much more than beautiful locations. They’re an opportunity to celebrate your relationship before the whirlwind of the wedding day.
Caiti-Erin and Evan were so natural together. Whether they were laughing as they walked along the shoreline or sharing a quiet moment overlooking the water, their connection made every photograph feel genuine.
Those unscripted moments are always my favorite because they tell the real story of your relationship.
One of my favorite parts was when they shared mozzarella sticks, which was a throwback to their very first date together. It was the cutest thing and got the most candid smiles!
